How much is a comprehensive exam?

What is a Contact Lens Fitting?

Our doctors are committed to personalizing your contact lens from the prescription to the fit so that they are right for your eyes and vision. Trials and follow-ups are included.

How much is a contact lens fitting?

A contact lens fitting is $53. Feel free to check with us if you are covered by your insurance.

I already know my glasses prescription. Do I still need a contact lens fitting?

Yes, the prescription for your glasses differs from the one for your contact lenses. The contact lens fitting allows the doctor to help you find the contact lenses that is the most comfortable and visually clearest. We want to make sure that the contact lens you receive does not cause irritation or an allergic reaction.

What is a dilation?

A dilation allows the doctor to take a deeper look into your eyes. You may experience increased light sensitivity and blurry vision during your dilation. It takes about 3-4 hours for your eyes to revert to their normal size. We recommend scheduling your appointment so that another driver can accompany you and drive you home as it is unsafe to drive with your eyes dilated.

Will my eyes be dilated?

While dilation is not required, the doctor may recommend dilation. We are happy to schedule a separate dilation appointment if needed.

Can I do a walk-in for an eye exam?

In the case of a walk-in, we will let you know if we will be able to see you and the approximate wait-time. We want to make sure each patient receives an unrushed, thorough examination, so we may be unable to see you or you may experience a long wait-time. However, we will do our best to have the doctor see you that day. Please feel free to call us at 909-466-7580 to check for availability.

Do I need to schedule an appointment to buy glasses?

You may walk-in to buy glasses and do not need to schedule an appointment if you have a valid prescription. Outside prescriptions are welcomed.

When am I due for my next annual eye exam?

We recommend having an eye exam every year. We will gladly look up when you are due for another exam, so give us a call at 909-466-7580 to check with one of our staff.
